Dave, Thanks for the info. You will be getting my business. A question on the round helm tops. Are they flat at the center seam, or do they have a bit of a ridge at the weld line? Did you get the email I sent about the greaves? I think you need more pictures of your armour parts on your website. BTW...

Gavin,
I will probably go with Cet, as I want to order some other armor bits anyway.
How is the finish on the helm tops? Planished finish, the grinding on the weld seam, etc.? Could you post a pic or two of one of the helmet bowls, please?

Thanks!

Opinions wanted on helm domes from Cet and Ironmonger

Hey all, I was looking at purchasing some welded and ground helmet tops from Ironmonger or Rough from the hammer. Does anyone have an informed opinion on either product? Is one better than the other, as far as planishing, welding, or the finish on the ground down weld? I believe WMA, Windrose, and G...

Yep, has to be a 9". It's for a project and it can't be any bigger. I'm a computer tech by trade, and I can get scrap crt monitors in any normal size, all day long. But 9" is very specialized. Usually server or point of sale applications.

Hey, computer guys! Looking for a monitor...

Guys, I am looking for a 9", color, vga or svga monitor. Cheaper is better, not interested in buying a new one. Do you have one lying around someplace, or know where I might find one cheap? There is one one on ebay right now going for 33 bux, with 2 days to go, it's probably going to go a lot h...

domed round shield

You can get a spun aluminum round shield for $60 here.

http://www.bymyhanddesigns.com/

"Round-about 26" wide and domed so that it is 3 or 4 inches deep. It rides well on the arm and can be strapped or used with a boss."

Simple dished ovals... So, are they the same pattern as the regular cops, with the fan removed? Also, I was wondering why the fan less knee is more expensive than the fanned version?

Question for Cet

Dave,
What gauges of metal do you use for your fanless knee and elbow cops, as well as the shoulder cops? If I want to place an order, should I just email you at the addy. from your website? Can you do knees in 14 gauge mild or 16 GA stainless? Elbowa and shoulders in 16 GA SS?

Thanks!

Can you sell the brass disks, buckles, etc. seperatly? They look very nice!

Matty, do you still have a source for the fancy brass bits you used on the shoulders on your rig?
