What are you using for a pell? I have a 4 x 4 wrapped in carpet and just have a duct tape line where the top of the knee is, waist is and bottom of the helm - when doing pell work aim above the tape. Two part rivets tend to be eaten by sweat and blow up to quickly, and in large quantity once the first one goes. Did a Lorica with them and REALLY regretted it.
