I have an Aiptek bought at Bestbuy but it looks like they no longer carry them, they have them at Target for $149 m The reason I went this route is it's a digital video camera and a camera, good resolution, great video quality. I use it to tape practices and fights at events, used it when we travele...

I agree with Max, I use a football chin cup bought at Dicks and it works great. I do have an enclosed face Norman helm and you can't see it so I don't feel back about it. It has the added bonus of being 1/2" of padding so if I get rocked by an overly enthusiatic shot it stops my helm from jacki...

I've won a couple of dozen or so singles rattan tournaments of all different types and weapons forms, plus about 1/2 dozen melee rattan tournaments, and a few fencing tournaments. When we were landed a few years back we had the privilage of honoring Sir Callidus for this 25th Tournament victory, he...

My suggestion would be materials + hourly rate it takes to cut out parts + overhead then add options for shaping pieces etc based upon estimated time. As an example if you are going to sell a Lorica kit in stainless take the cost of the material plus the time it takes you to cut, drill the holes and...

How do you get your "tourney brain" on?

So.... I'm an okay fighter. the only pavilion I'm aware of with only four corner poles is the regent, the reason is that the slanted walls are sewn to the top so staking the walls down helps stabilize the whole tent. Our Marque from Tentsmiths if 14 x 14 and has 20 perimeter poles. Personally prefer the look of the Regent but ...

Used 14th Century Spring Steel Legs by Alan Bauldree [SOLD]

I am currently the proud owner for Alan Bauldry's first pair or spring steel legs, they have great lines and are totally the wrong look for the 13th century Norman portrayal I am going for. These legs, in my opinion, do not have all the great advantages of spring steel as they are not that light and...
