I have an Aiptek bought at Bestbuy but it looks like they no longer carry them, they have them at Target for $149 m The reason I went this route is it's a digital video camera and a camera, good resolution, great video quality. I use it to tape practices and fights at events, used it when we travele...

I've won a couple of dozen or so singles rattan tournaments of all different types and weapons forms, plus about 1/2 dozen melee rattan tournaments, and a few fencing tournaments. When we were landed a few years back we had the privilage of honoring Sir Callidus for this 25th Tournament victory, he...

Again, thank you everyone. Robin - I look forward to talking philosophy with you. Nissan - very good point, I believe that you don't have to be the best fighter to understand the philosophy of fighting and good give tips. I can TALK a great game, just get in my own way some times when the lid is on....

My suggestion would be materials + hourly rate it takes to cut out parts + overhead then add options for shaping pieces etc based upon estimated time. As an example if you are going to sell a Lorica kit in stainless take the cost of the material plus the time it takes you to cut, drill the holes and...

How do you get your "tourney brain" on?
So.... I'm an okay fighter. Some days I walk in the list, go to guard, and club people.... some days I walk in the list, go to guard and debate what my opponent is going to do, my favorite flavor of ice cream, how many jelly beans ARE in that jar on the counter, whatever - everything but being face ...

the only pavilion I'm aware of with only four corner poles is the regent, the reason is that the slanted walls are sewn to the top so staking the walls down helps stabilize the whole tent. Our Marque from Tentsmiths if 14 x 14 and has 20 perimeter poles. Personally prefer the look of the Regent but ...

and one last image. As always any questions please let me know. Someone with knowledge or polishing could clean these up quickly, add some period buckles and have a beautiful set of 14th century legs. I would personally recommend replacing all the leather but that of course is the buyers decision, t...

Okay, got photos this morning. I put them all up on Flickr here m I'm including the pictures in the thread too but wanted to link them too just in case something screwy happens. Just a quick note, I will clean them up and replace the two broken straps before I take pictures, but if at that time any of the bidders wish to back out I perfectly understand. They are still in good shape other than a little surface rust and needing straps, but no harm no foul if the high bidder s...

Used 14th Century Spring Steel Legs by Alan Bauldree [SOLD]
I am currently the proud owner for Alan Bauldry's first pair or spring steel legs, they have great lines and are totally the wrong look for the 13th century Norman portrayal I am going for. These legs, in my opinion, do not have all the great advantages of spring steel as they are not that light and...

We love our square pavilion from Tentsmiths. It has five ties on each side of the door so when go to bed at night we tie the outside, then tie the inside. It's a pain when you get up to go to the port a john in the middle of the night, but I will never worry about Nicholas wandering off (until he le...

Torvaldr is at AEthelmearc War Practice this weekend, I am sure if you shoot him an email or pm he will be able to answer all your questions. Specifically if you tell him your concerns about coverage doing certains moves with a sword he should be able to tell you if they will be functional that way....
