I had a pair of those stainless gauntlets once, bought them at Pennsic from a guy from Calontir I believe - Wolf-something (schmidt... wolfen-something... don't remember). Solid, serviceable gauntlets that I paid almost $300 for at midnight madness but they were a little to big for me so I sold them...

totally agree with going as accurate as possible and I applaud you for that, just going to have a hard time finding accurate and inexpensive. Your Highness,

I will be there. We met a number of years ago at Pennsic when you brought me a thimble for my brothers wife in exchange for an armor book if I remember.

Would you like some more Swedish Fish?

In general riveted and inexpensive do not go together.

If it's for costume use only I would recommend checking EBay to see what you can find, I got a butted chainmail shirt for about $100 from Kingslance on EBay years ago.

good luck,

none of the archers need a new bow?

I have one correction, the sticker on the bow says Pennsic XXX, must have been the last time I shot it at War even though it made the trip every year until XXXV

Given the mass production nature of what they do have you given any thought that maybe he shipped you the wrong pair? Many pro armorers do runs of things so he might have made six or eight pair of gauntlets at the same time and tossed the mild into your box in error? If that is the case then someone...
