I've got a couple shield bosses in stock. I think they're 16ga mild maybe a 14ga one also have one of the ones with a collar at the base.

My recipe for 1050 is hear to 1650 f then quench in hot water (from the hot water tap) then temper at 675 f for an hour. Having accurate temperatures is pretty important I suggest investing in a pyrometer

It's heat treated 410 It air hardenes signigicantly when heated. The thin metal is hard to work with since it likes to crack and tear. Spring stainless is a bitch to work with.

Still needs the gauntlets cod piece and helmet. Lemme know what you think. Unfortunately it sits funny on the mannequin since mannequins aren't human shaped.

Sort of. It has a small diagram of the pattern with instructions to make a correctly sized pattern from measurements.

410 problems. Smallest spool of mig wire you can get is 15kg aka over 30 pounds which won't fit in my welder and costs about a million bucks. It requires preheat and post heat and an anneal afterwards. It's also difficult to weld. You can use TIG and use scrap sheet cut into little strips for filler...

Just a note that 1050 mig wire is available you just need to ask your local welding shop to order it in.

Now welding 410 stainless on the other hand is a GIGANTIC nightmare.

These havve a size large welding glove inside them which is about the same as an xl work glove since welding gloves are made to fit looser for fast removal. They'd fit anyone who can wear a large or extra large work glove.

Oh and they only have 9 lames on them.
