These ones are stainless with aluminum splints. My internet is down for about a week but will try and get online after the weekend with weight and answers to the other stuff.

And if you're a manly man like me you can stack all 10 horizontal plates of a kussnasch coat of plates and bend them all at once so that not only do they nest top to bottom they also nest front to back.

Re: Black and white suit for sale.
What's your navel measurement. I took a quick measure when I did that. If you give me yours I can check it better. I've also dropped a bunch of waist since the breastplate was made so it may actually go a few inches bigger.

Re: Small/cheap sheet metal roller?
Use something like what halberds posted. Stack the lames for one spaulder and bend them all at the same time in a stack. FASTER then a slip roll and they nest perfectly instead of all being the same. And on top of that your spaulder cop isn't going to exactly fit the lames that come out of a slip ro...

Re: Black and white suit for sale.
I'm about 35" at the navel (narrowest part of the breastplate) the width from side to side on the breastplate is 11.5"
It is meant to squish you in a bit at the waist. It should fit if you're a little bigger but not a lot.

If you're close to my size we can go over all specific measurements to ensure that it will fit and function properly if you have a serious interest and ability to make the purchase. And of course before any commitment to buy takes place.

Will add a note that while preference is a sale paid in full now I am willing to take payment in installments. Would not ship until full payment has been made though. This is a big ticket item and not everyone has that kinda cash lying around.

Re: Black and white suit update. Gauntlets.
They curl around and point back towards the arm but don't roll into a ball. Seems like most only bend around that far. Going to add a little bit more curve on the pattern for the lames on the part that sits underneath so I can get a little more bend on the spring stainless version. Probably going to...

The sabatons are silly because they're big and clunky. The pic on the site I think they got photoshopped smaller so I have to get some new pics of them before selling em to anyone.

Re: Black and white gauntlet question.
Yeah it was pretty tricky finding room to make them slide. I have to repattern the wrist area lames anyway they don't wrap around the thumb enough so now when i rebuild them I don't have to do slots. Which is great because I don't like doing them.

Black and white gauntlet question.
Anyone have something that shows or can just kind of explain how much they should bend at the wrist in a side to side direction? I can't really see any slots in the articulations but it sort of feels like there should be motion in that direction. I've put in slots and have some range in there but no...

Re: EMERGENCY DRILL HELP
Water is the best coolant. Cobalt bits are much better than titanium but they're more brittle too. Learn to sharpen bits or get a drill doctor to do it. Don't buy cheap bits. Slow speed and decent pressure most of the way through. Then just as you're starting to break through the other side high spe...
