Are those eyeletts in the breaths of the helmet?
If so cool idea. If not then what's the shiny circle around the holes.

Washers come from the hardware store. Buy em by the pound. a pound of washers might cost you $2. You'll also be able to use this stuff for splinted arms and legs and things like that. You WILL NOT get 3 brigs from 2 sides. You need big pieces to make a brig and it's just not likely that you'll be ab...

I really hope it'll cost less I really want it but if I'm gonna spend 500+ then I'd rather get a beverly shear. They did mention that they would be producing several different editions. It has to be dried very well. A good way to do this is to hang it up on a regular coat hanger and hit it with a hair dryer. Another easy and effective way to wash your maille is to take it to a coin car wash and prop it up over some milk crates then use the pressure washers to clean it up. Also lemo...

Hey Ed did you see my post about the Ontario armourers gathering? Now on to the topic at hand. Basically wd40 is a bad idea. It's a deceasing oil which is actually acidic. Oh and if they also sell 16 gauge then go with that and make your rings 5/16" inner diameter. It'll be plenty strong and actually lighter and the smaller rings will look better. It is more work though. The smaller the rings the more rings there are. But it's definitly worth it. I use 5/16 16ga almos...

Should be just fine. You could go as large as 7/16 for the ring size but smaller rings do look better. I'd recommend 3/8 any smaller and it gets too heavy. That's a great deal for the wire. And just so you know you'll have plenty wire and then some. The one thing you may want to consider is wether t...
