No strapping tape is needed, just duct tape to cover the black plastic & mark an edge. The pipe can be shaved or sanded to oval a grip, too.

Rattan Price Drop

With the help of my suppliers, I'm dropping the price on full length rattan poles, effective immediately.

Regular rattan (high quality Manau, and quite straight) is now $15 each.

Premium Rattan, the straightest on the market, is $20 each.

1 inch i.d., 160 psi siloflex* pipe, with a 1 inch rattan core is approved for single handed weapons and has been for quite a while. They wind up slightly lighter, on average, than 1.25" rattan swords, and tend to be more durable. There is a different 'feel' when they hit, so their use is a mat...

Just for clarity, on the flat-edged blanks I sell, and the tapered ones I hope to have soon, I do recommend that the owner take some sandpaper or whatever and soften any 'sharp' corners. I don't have that done on my end because I want the owner to be able to do any finish shaping they want to make i...

I've known a few too many guys missing fingers & parts of fingers. Usually from rushing or fatigue.

I've shipped like that a couple times. Although shipping to the west coast of the US isn't a whole lot less expensive at times. Seems like if it crosses the Rockies, both UPS and USPS jack it up another 30-40%.
