I agree with Jacob- my dad is the manager of a tire shop. They have a 5 gallon bucket of old tire weights (weighs about 100lbs +) and they give it to a scap guy. Lead is a heavy metal and they are not allowed to throw it away. They will either give it to you or sell it to you really cheap. Cheers! ~K
