Give in to the temptation.
You will not only get a great suit of armour for a great deal, but you will be helping me keep that beautiful horse in the pics. Vet bills are freaking huge!!!

Bumpity bump bump. I also have a way way cool visored kettle helm that really makes this kit. It is not SCA, but very very sweet. Got it from Therion when he still offered them. Will not sell it seperatly- included with the armour- $1000 for all. I will even pay shipping to lower 48 states. Going on...

Hey John!
Gruber,
How the hell are you man!
Drop me an email, statzk@yahoo.com - how often are you working in the shop? Some day I would like to get that breast & back done (not your fault, I've sort of fallen off the face of the earth lately).

Yeah, what Chris (Sasuke) said! He showed me how to make the gadlings (knuckle pyramids) and even for a complete neophyte like myself it worked great! Dish a small but deep section about the size you want the point, then define your facets by raising them on a sharp stake or in our case an anvil cor...

Gundo is sort of making stuff... I am supposed to be "next" in his queue, and have been waiting for a year. And this is a queue slot I purchased from someone who had been waiting for quite some time before that. Not that I am complaining- I knew when I went into it that the wait would be long. Gundo...

Looking for cotton rope (1/4" to 1/2")
Anyone know of a good source for cotton rope? Or by chance does anyone have about 200' or more of the stuff floating about? It is for a 15th C. riding caparison of braided rope. Should be pretty cool, but I gotta find a good source of rope without it costing $150!
Thanks!

While not "exactly" the hand, the Elizabethan fencing manual I read when in college had a ton of plates illustrating thrusts to both the wrist and front foot of the opponent. I don't have a copy anymore, and don't remember the name of the book... So this is probably useles, just like me! <lol> I wou...

Well, If I understand the question right, the reason is very practical. Seam on the sides of a great helm= 5 piece construction. Less time shaping the metal, less time in forming a large sheet of steel/iron. Seam in the back= 3 piece construction. More time shaping the steel, more time in creating l...

Looking for a pattern for the Black Prince helm. Anyone have a good one? Gundo had one, but I was a dork and didn't bring home a copy.

I agree with both the previous posters. I also have bought a ton of stuff on E-Bay for 40K and WFB, and I like to buy the badly painted stuff, cause it usually goes for much less than the stripped mini's. But I am usually willing to pay more for stripped, bare metal/plastic mini's. If I were selling...
