http://www.thegreenman.net/wma/fighterpage/Dscf0009.jpg Here is one of my favourites. Not just because I am in it. That's me on the stairs drinking water and laughing my butt off. Yes those are two fighters rolling around on the ground. With their helms fully duct taped, one arm duct taped to the o...

That is our new Baron Xavier, the helm was a gift from Adam (I think) and the tunic (not sure of what it's name really is) is from Adam's Wife.

I'm in a couple of the shots, helmet off, drinking water on the stairs near the MOL.

The guys from HE made a large post, complete with images about it when the TV spot was shot.

Too bad they only spend like 10 minutes on it. I would have liked to hear more from Jeff.

Yes, Adam fought very well all weekend.

Even though the first day of fighting, the benches seemed not to like him all that much. =)

I only wish I could have stayed to see him win.

The Problem in the SCA with good armour.

So this weekend up here in New Hampshire (Stonemarche that is), we had our Midsummers event. Great fun. We attempted to do a Pas and it was fun. Things went a little diffrently than we thought, but it was a fine time had by all. That was until some very jealous fellow decided that my armour was bett...

Barry,

I have almost an identical breastplate, made by Sasuke at Oaks Armoury. What he did is fold the cloth before attaching to the faulds, this leaves a slight "buldge" in the cloth which allows the fauld to be fully articulated with no issues.

Finger bucklers are small shields that are fitted over the fingers on a pair of standard finger gauntlets to make them heavy list legal.

Click here to see how it is done with my gauntlets from Oak's Armoury (Sasuke).

At no time do I loose any visibility in the helm. When I have the money, I'm adding one of Steve's half rivetted, half solid ring aventai...

What you going to do with a helm like that? I thought you were shooting for a late 14th century kit.

Or are you also going to have a 12th century kit too?
