Message for CLANG

Clang, I sent out the balance due on my arm armour on Wednsday of last week. It went out priority mail. Hopefully you have it by now. My home email (in fact my home internet connection) is currently off line due to my move, till ComCast shows up and reconnects me, which should be later this week. I ...

I would hit Historic Enterprises. I got my pair of black turnshoes from them. They look good, are sturdy and are period.

Before wearing I highly recommend sealing them with something as the dye is not "set".

Gutter greaves vs full greaves...

As my kit nears completion, I had a couple of questions... I know people who do a lot of SCA style combat have issues with full greaves. How common in the very late 14th century (1390's) were gutter greaves? In the late 14th century did the demigreaves have the "button holes" for the rest of the gre...

The brim of my helm is not my head, nor any other part of my body... I may just be iterpreting the East Kingdom rules improperly, but if I were to treat my helm as if it were a skull cap or "an open faced iron helm with nasal" a shot that hits my brim would normally hit nothing but air, a shot that ...

I have one of Karen's gambesons. Top notch work. They fit very well, are quite durable (I wear Forth Armoury Chain on top of mine with an Oaks Armoury Corrazina on top of that).

Just DO NOT wash them! I test washed my sleeves and they shrunk about 3-5%.
