Love the look of the momonari thus far.
Of course I am very partial to the okegawa. Is the one you did up for me 2mm?
And yes! I know I owe you pictures. I'm lazy (actually too damn busy getting flown around the US and Canada with the new job...)

Re: Queue slots available.
I limit the amout of commitments I have at any given time. OTOH, I'm not as productive if I'm not working on multiple pieces. Therefore, I'm posting available slots. The current Queue is: 1.) Sendai dou russetted---spoken for 2.) Sendai dou powdercoated --available 3.) Prototype momonari Kabuto (dr...

Wwwwwwow. Yeah. I'll pass word around as well. I doubt I could stuff my 6'5", 240 lb. frame into it (although I'm sure some folks around here would pay good money for the pictures if I did...). In the meantime, I'll sacrifice a few cups of sake to the patrons of good fortune on your behalf! KM. Now...

*** NO LONGER FOR SALE***
It pains me to do this beyond words, but I either sell the armour, or lose my apartment. Not much of a choice. I have a full set of Japanese armour, made for me by our own Mykaru over the past three years. This is a very complete kit, from a Zunari Kabuto, down to tsubo style suneate. It includes: Z...

There is nothing better than having chef de chambre to comment on armour. That used to be my corrazina. I miss it! Along with all the other goodies Sasuke made for me, and top it all off with one of WMA's kettles... For my kit, I wore a habergeon under, with arms and legs of a late 14th early 15th c...

G, First question, is your wife ok? Considering how nice your other harness was that is high praise indeed. Sometimes I think your wife has a strange blend of lust for Toshiro Mifune and certain scenes from Excaliber. You're such a reliable armour whore that I've considered changing my sig to "Katc...

As you can see, I've still got a long way to go. Hopefully the next one will be presentable. Stop beating yourself up Mykaru, I'm more than happy with the armour you made for me, more than happy is an understatement too. Even though I've sold just about every piece of anything sellable I own to pay...

Eff-san, my dislike for you is increasing with every image Mykaru posts. Heh heh heh. Michael, what exactly is the method of securing the menpo? I'm trying to picture it, but I can't quite. I assume there's some connection on the side to the shitajikoro, but what about front and center -- or does i...

Hey Gui! I thought you had dropped off the face of the earth or something! We miss you around Stonemarche buddy. Hope all is well. Drefan Yeah more or less. It's a decent enough start. I would recommend using plastic for these that don't have the huge rib on em as if they have the rib they are going to be harder to work with. Make the wakiita separate pieces, just cut them off the side pieces. The munaita and oshitsukie-no-ita are huge. They should only...

Guillaume, I think Noble plastics pretty much has the lace it yourself area sewn up. Keep dreaming, you know I do more modern armour than that! Nothing against Noble's stuff, it's just not my era! My efforts to get kiritsuzane kusazuri cast in epoxy for use with my work AND additional sales keep sl...

Guillaume, Reproduction is going to be aimed at the guys in Japan who do Soma etc. A step above Tozando or Marutake, but a little below museum display pieces. (Note that is not imply that they can't do said work, it's simply not thier market). I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing these. I would lov...

Oh damn man, I see that line "Reproduction Japanese Armor" Me thinks I need a nice display set for the house... Whacha planning on doing? Looks good, but get rid of the new window spawns, my pop up blocker raises holy hell. It looks good under IE, and I hate firefox with a passion so no worries there.
