Love the look of the momonari thus far.

Of course I am very partial to the okegawa. Is the one you did up for me 2mm?

And yes! I know I owe you pictures. I'm lazy (actually too damn busy getting flown around the US and Canada with the new job...)

Tabi shoes are on order, still trying to track down a yoroi hitatare and gusoku shita.

It looks funny with jeans.

I am very pleased to announce the armour is now off the market.

Re: Queue slots available.

I limit the amout of commitments I have at any given time. OTOH, I'm not as productive if I'm not working on multiple pieces. Therefore, I'm posting available slots. The current Queue is: 1.) Sendai dou russetted---spoken for 2.) Sendai dou powdercoated --available 3.) Prototype momonari Kabuto (dr...

I think this is the last bump for me up too. I won't be ebaying this.

Remember this armour isn't just for SCA combat, take the mempo off the kabuto and it's one HELL of a display piece.

*** NO LONGER FOR SALE***

It pains me to do this beyond words, but I either sell the armour, or lose my apartment. Not much of a choice. I have a full set of Japanese armour, made for me by our own Mykaru over the past three years. This is a very complete kit, from a Zunari Kabuto, down to tsubo style suneate. It includes: Z...

It's a decent enough start. I would recommend using plastic for these that don't have the huge rib on em as if they have the rib they are going to be harder to work with. Make the wakiita separate pieces, just cut them off the side pieces. The munaita and oshitsukie-no-ita are huge. They should only...

My only concern would be the loss of visibility which is why I'm glad Mykaru made my somen mostly out of bar steel.

The nose looks a bit large, as does the mouth opening.

The shape is very pleasing though.

Mykaru hit the nail right on the head.

Armour for the average japanese man was small.

Even I'm not 4'11".

House did an EXCELLENT job, in fact they look rather similar to the ones Mykaru did for me with the exception of them being leather.
