Alejandro, thanks for the compliments.

Sadly I don't sell them anymore. The weight varies as some ar AL for stage fighting some mild and some SS for bigger steel blades. A regular mild steel one for rapier was around 2-2.5 lbs.

Mystic Kavu

I used two end caps for the mushroom like stakes. You can find them with all the other plumbing fittings. I bought those in a "Réno-Dépôt".

Mike feel free to use it. If you could email me a link to your article that I could put on my links page I would appreciate it. I used 1,25" for the bigger ones, 1" for the other and 0,75" for the smallest I think. For the galvanisation I am hoping that grinding is not as bad as heating the stuff up...

You chose your aprentices well I would say.;)

Thanks for the tips.

The nasal will not have any shaping done to it except to match the helm of course. It is 1/8" thick. Maybe a little engraving though.

Of course if you are serious, just say the word and I'll be more than happy to "persuade" the neighbor to leave. ;)

Mike, here is a better look. It is used as a rivet set. I will buy a couple more plugs to shape for the different rivet size I use.

Yes, it will be sandwiched, with single rivet. I like the look more than the two rows of rivets. On a side note, the Mig will be to weld the headband.

Now why does everybody call's me Padraig...It's Padrig!!! ;)

Cheap Stakes (Pic)

Stakes made like Hal's with plumber supplies. Cheap, about 20$ for the lot and a little grinding.

Not much I admit but I am almost done working on tools. Although I still need a few more stakes to finish this one as well as a Mig.
