The making the jacket part and the sewing is what I was refering to. I thought the spangles were bought but making them is pretty insane also. But I know Bob is not insane, more like the sanest sp? man I know. He married you didn't he. ;)

I went to take a look and by God you are insane Kass. I did a decent amount of mail a while back and I don't think I would have the patience to do that. But I have to say it also looks very nice.

Funny how now we need steel and know it's value. Before I started armouring I would not have looked twice at a piece of steel on the ground. It was just cheap scrap. Now I'll stop my car in the middle of the road to pick up a piece of steel. :D

This may sound weird comming from somebody who will buy the book but don't make it too cheap. It is very useful knowledge that you choose to share (not all do) and should be compensated for it appropriatly sp? Don't know if this makes sense. :?

Thanks, ma petite, for clearing that up. I guess since I am not SCA, I haven't heard the term use in that sense much. Keep up that linking for words, very useful if you want to portray the French. But in their case is more a liking to hear THEIR own words.;)

One final welding question

Well the time is here. I am ready to buy a Mig welder. I’ve narrowed it down to 2 models. But I am not sure which one to choose. They are basically the same, but one has continuous full-range adjustment of voltage and is $250 more than the other which has just 4 positions for adjusting voltag...
