i use one all the time at work. the beauty of thesis that they heat a surprisingly large surface area and farily quickly.

we use it at work for sweat fitting gears, replacment bearing journals and other stuff of the like.

i had my helm done, simply because i can get most anythign powdercoated for free. It is real durable, yes 2 colours is possible but you need to mask it off copper tape (high temp resistance)

So your vision of what the game should be is more valid than mine? I didn't say that, however duke Alaric summed up my opinion quite well. i said until it is done in a period manner IE a FEW archers being snipers rather than all of them, and the MAJORITY of the archers (the ones that ARN'T snipers)...

i would be interested if they were done in aluminum Titainium bronze or spring or stainless.

Also what is the possibility of getting additional holes on them to enable lacing together in the lamellar style IE no backing whatsoever.

Here is a bearing journal I welded today, the picture isnt great, but you can notice the coined texture. also note the width of the beads, they're actually twice taht width but overlap eachother by a half.

that is an aluminum MIG weld, the "coins" are too pointer to be a Tig welda good mig wled will ahve the same effect with the oxidization

i will try to post pics of my welding tommorow, i have what i refer to as a "Machinist" weld, no bigger than it has to be and is smooth as glass (as it is meant to be either cut or ground down). A good weld should be of a consistant width from point A to Point B, be fairly smoot but still have some ...

you don't need a threading attachment, just set your feed rate cut the pass, then pull the tool back real quick. then turn lathe of WITHOUT DISENGAGING THE FEED, run the lathe in reverse till you reach the other side of the thread, bring the tool back in and reverse the lathe. continue till done

Well the hard part is done, now all i need to do is get the money together to get some leather so i can do the leatherwork properly.

It fits quite well rather form fitting i plan on adding some leatherwork to the bottom and redoing the straps (perhaps pteurges)
