i just bought a helm that was already blackened but it is worn off in a few places how does one go about blackemning it again? (it is flame balckened initially(somthing about heating it up then putting wd-40 on it))

the way it worked when i used it iat school was you set-up a different die for each bend and just pull the handle till you get the angle you want you can make pretty much any shape up to a 12 inch diameter also we bent 1/2" round stock on it without heating it up at all

there is already one in existance it is called a diacro bender but they are rare you will probably only ever find one in an old farm auction or school

i fight with siloflex swords and i find them to be substantially lighter the only problem is you need to learn how to through quick snap shots agin(doesn't take long) i would sooner fight with siloflex swords then regular ratan
