I believe that the BOD outlawed the concept of war crown after HG Aveloc ran the An-Tir war crown. They didn't outlaw it...they just required that if you were going to run anything other than a one on one list you have to get the BoD's permission... Which would be about as likely to be given as...o...

*snip* Sometimes, my arm is all that is open. I have no problem when it gets hit and take it readily. then again, I'm not from An Tir. I doubt you will find many here who do not take arm shots. My knight had a response he taught us for folks who didn't like getting hit in the arm: "I was tryin...

I think this kind of follows the "asthetics" complaint that seems to break on an east/west basis. For example, the common practice of closing with a legged fighter and climbing right on top of them that is practiced in the eastern/middle kingdoms would be viewed with absolute horror by man...

A long time ago, I worked in large scale hog barns. I am a pretty callous guy when it comes to livestock. I do not like to see animals suffer when they are ill. We kept a .22 cal rifle for putting down sick or injured pigs. As many have said here, if your angle is bad, bullets ricochet. My prefered ...

Finally came out to a practice...Again

Well after procrastinating for nearly a year I finally came out to a local practice again. New Years goals = one practice per week. 1 down 51 to go. Had a blast. Sir Savaric is a very good knight and teacher. This was the first practice I have EVER attended that focused on drills more than free spar...

An-Tir has "Squires Tourneis" at virtually every major event. All the squires (or squires for a day) get thrown into a meat grinder eric. Report wins and losses. Usually two 30 minute halfs. Three prizes - one for most fights (55-75 to win usually), one for most wins(40-60 to win usually),...

I beleive that there were 70 in total, 16 of which were An Tirian. 8 of the An Tirians were knights. Congratulations to Duke Jade for winning again.
