Re: Please post your favorite Raising tips here

Hi guys, Ive been working on my raising skill lately. I was wondering if anyone had any basic tips to raise a simple dome shape? What kind of tongs do you use to hold the sheet metal? I've only done it a couple of times (I'm pretty much a newb), but here's what worked for me. Buy an actual raising ...

Much in the same way the SCA was originally a Tolkien appreciation society. That was the start - then it very quickly grew into something different. It's the same with the Tuchux. At least as far as my understanding of it goes, anyways.

Put it upside down on a workbench and clamp or brace it somehow. Then place a wooden block from a 2x4 on the bend. Hammer the block until the bar is flush with the table.

Not so!

McMaster Carr has silicon carbide angle grinder flap discs out to 600 grit.

Re: What's the Deal with Combat Archery, ect?

I sometimes get the feeling that the organization is run by the elites of the royalty, and that those elites have a general idea of what they want the SCA to be and at times may limit the amount of personal freedom on and off the field. If I'm wrong, explain it to me. I'll explain it but you'll hav...
