Perhaps I'm naive in thinking that we share the same Culture, with few variations. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable taking the field in any kingdom, fighting hard and fair, and then sitting down with the locals for dinner afterward. Isn't the expectation of friendship part of what the SCA is all about...

i then backfilled those with a caulk-like spackling, sanded, and then painted over it. this is how i keep all of my shield faces free of any bolts. i would suggest either a two part epoxy resin or bondo instead. either of the latter two would reseal the coating making it a solid piece again. regard...
