has been on this archive, unchanged, for a long time. Actually Dan you ARE right about it being unchanged. I looked up the essay in my favorites, where I had saved it a few years ago. I just did not remember the last part. I also read it again and it makes a little more since to me now. BUT no matt...

[I never said I had read ALL the essays on the archive where you getting that? LOL, I didn't read who wrote that essay, he has added to it since I read it or I just didn't see it for some reason. You said "Yes I have seen the Archive Essay" and even quoted Hew's link in your reply. One might conclu...

Okay you've said this twice now, do you have a site or sorce you can send me to, so I can read what "Lu-shan" has to say?? Hew posted a link in post #5 to which you responded that you had read all the essays on the Archive. If that was true you would already have read Dan Slone's (Lu-shan) essay on...

David, he is done. Check the link Justin gave. It provided images of the finished breastplate. Here it is: Thanks for the link, Justin! -Gregory- I think you should read it again too, it is NOT complete...

Well lets see more Patric, That's coming along very nicely! I really can't wait to see the end results! If I'm assuming correctly (I'm terrible with 15th century stuff) then there will not be a backplate with this, right? Cheers, and keep us updated! -Gregory- He finished it - didn't he? This is a ...

I'd call it a representation of the pattern, this looks to me like a miniature, so 54mm scale?? It isn't a representation of the pattern. The iconographical evidence shows no gaps between the plates. The whole point of scale armour is to overlap the plates. Robinson's suggestion does not do this. L...

Don't guess I have ever heard of Lu-shan, got anything from him you can post? Tim, good idea. EDITED because I misunderstood. I have read Lu-shan, I just didn't realize who you were talking about as I did not read the name Lu-shan before I started reading the essay, so I did not realize who you were...

David, it's not that I am not proud, it's that I dont have it yet. My brother is going to go pic it up at around the 2nd of December. Don't worry, you will be inundated with pics then. Pad No, I didn't mean to sound like you weren't proud of it... Just that you were being stingy ... Just kidding, I...

Thanks for the info on this seller, I for one don't appreciate bad jokes about anyone but I really don't think this guy meant any malice. He was just trying to be funny. Its not like he was calling them foul names or mocking their hardships. There's joking and then there is just stupidity, I think h...

Tim this is prolly the coolest Mongol armour I have seen, when I saw it in the other thread I saved it with all the other armour I'd kill to have. I think it rates right up there with the mountain pattern lamallar (sp?). I know if I were an armourer I'd have both sets. I still want to try the chines...

LordWulf, I hope at least now you will keep your Armour and those who have bid will let you off the auction, if that is what you'd like. I am happy for you that someone was so kind as to give you such a fine gift as a puppy. You said something about Kindred being known from helping in the Hurricane,...
