That statue, while possibly of an armor of the Edo period, is most likely completely of an artist's interpretation. The legs and feet are misinterpreted or stylized, as is the loin panel. Same with the inside of the elbows and the vambraces. It looks fairly decent (if late-period) otherwise. I have...
