Looks like I can get a rebuild kit from http://www.regulatortorchrepair.com/store.php/products/250-80-540-repair-kit Only $27. The diagram doesn' make it look complicated. Wow! I did not know about this. I used to get parts form my Harris regulators direct from them, but they stopped selling to ind...

Hay john I had the leaky regulator last spring. Priced out repairs and found that the new regulator was about the same cost. I fear the big bomb gas fire bit so I replaced the old regulator. you are looking at the oxygen so maybe a home rebuild. I had bad acetylene so I ruled out the home rebuild s...

Looks like a single stage regulator medium duty. Victor I think produced an OXY fuel kit under that brand but it may have been randor or another company. Your welding supplier may be able to send it out for repair or have one you can rent or a demo Model on discount. It looks like there is a kit if...

Oxy regulator gone bad- Rebuild or replace?

Tried to use my oxy/act rig tonight and the oxy regulator us leaking through the holes on the base of the adjusting screw housing in the front of the regulator. I think this means the diaphragm has gone bad. So much for weekend productivity! It's a USA made Firepower brand of at least 10-15 years of...

The trick is in knowing what will result from any given hammer blow (x 10 or x200 or whatever). You also need to know where you are going. Is any given area round, saddle shaped of cylindrical? Where are the transitions from one shape to the next? And, then you need to know when to stop. Every hamm...
