At first I thought it was pretty cool that they would rebuild the things on the spot, rather than just reject everyone's spear out of hand. Then they ran out of pellets and started rejecting everyone's spears out of hand. Then they closed Inspection point entirely. Application of the new thrusting ...

Baron Eirik will have this helmet at Pennsic. He will be selling it for more than the $300 I got down to on here. It will most certainly sell there! I remember fighting you in that helm when I moved to Atlantia back in the early Nineties. It's a nice helm with good glancing surface. Seeing it nudge...

home kitchens are built around islands with work triangles? That is part what I was trying to say in my post but I didn't hammer it home. Work triangles are a great way to organize. Forming should be near the anvil, stakes and fire. Pegboard is great but I also mark the general use tools with green...

Very nice work Mac. I like the side by side model comparison!

I wonder if getting the canvas wet will change the tension on the system much. The frame makes this different than your average Panther Pav.

Lots to learn here. Thanks opening this little window on your process.

Is there a counterweight on the pommel end? You can stand to have a nice heavy one to balance the rattan. My shivona has a trapazoidal chunk of 5/8" steel that measures 1" on one end and 1 5/8 on the other. About 2" long.

Balances and weighs just about the same as my cut and thrust sword.
