It's a cool idea though! Are the balls screwed or through bolted? I think if you notched them to sit closer to the centerline it would look more like the real thing. It will be snazzy with the gold :shock:

You could slightly flare each lame so that the edge does not scrape on it's mate but I think considering who it is going on and the kind of use it will see you would do best giving him a couple cans of red Krylon :wink:
