Hi Conal, I honestly don't remember. I know that I sold a bunch to Murdock before he moved up here for $2 each, but I bought these from Talbot back in 2004 (Clay Moore was custom building me a Klapvisor and I picked these up and a Revival spring steel klapvisor hinge for the project). I would guess,...

Auction: Lot of 19 Large Talbot Vervelles

Hi all, I have one lot of 19 Talbot's Fine Accessories Large Vervelles that I am auctioning off today - I don't think that Talbot produces these anymore (I couldn't find a listing for them anywhere). I will start the auction off at $12 + shipping and will run it until Tuesday, June 24th at Noon CST....

F/S: Quiet Press 15th Century Spurs/Hooks/Straps

Hi All, I am selling my pair of Raymond's Quiet Press 15th Century Bronze Spurs, with the attached hooks/straps/period buckles. I bought these last year and wore them at the IJA Silverleaf Jousting Tournament. So they are gently used (I didn't ride/joust that weekend and would not suggest these for ...

Museum Replicas. Also, it no longer has the cheesy elastic straps on it. It was too hard explaining to the school groups about them (kids notice everything) so I cut them off. I will, at no extra charge, throw in a formed/hardened backplate that could, with a bit of work, fit well with this breastpl...

Rowan - Beathan at Armour and Castings has a lot of buckles and castings that they don't show on their sight. You might give him a yell and see what he has. I have some late 14th and earl 15th Century bronze ones of his and they are great (and the price was right). Also, like James mentioned, Mercia...

How many do you need? I have a few handforged 3/4" x 48" long ones that I might be convinced to part with. They are pretty butch (we even tied one of our drafts to one of them and it took him all day of trying to finally bend it). They are set up to allow for up to 1 3/4" poles.

No, I bought them for something like $3.95 apiece (since I bought so many), but I just want to get them out of my garage, so I would be more than willing to let them go for $1.75 each + shipping. balsa for tourney clubs

Hi All, Last year I accidently bought 100 2"x2"x36" balsa planks for lance tips (rather than the 1 1/2" that I needed). I had plans on turning these into period tourney clubs (the balsa is very hard, we even had trouble breaking tips), but haven't the time. Sooooo, my loss is you...

First lot of books have shipped :D Remember, they were sent USPS Book Rate which is just a tad slower than 1st Class (if 1st Class were the pony express, book rate would be somewhere along the lines of a packmule... )
