Hi Tryst, Arms are mild, but are pretty butch. Brayette is sold and shipped. Legs are stainless. Check out Valentine Armoury for a brayette. He has a nice 10mm riveted one at a good price (shipping may get you though). I have not seen one of these personally but they look good on his site and if you...

I have jousted against Rod in this kit and all I can say is WOW. This is, without a doubt, the best looking suit of armour that I have seen from someone other than Mac.

It is well worth $5000 usc and at the price Rod has it - it is a steal!

Lloyd, I was just loooking at the thread.... If you have a definite bite on the full kit I would understand your wanting to let the brayette go with the suit. After all it is an intgegral piece of "protection". I would never demand that another fighter be left "hanging". Yet I am interested still i...

Hey Chris, They are made off of Rod's pattern and are designed pretty much specifically for IJA use. I am selling them for the same price (exactly) that I bought them. I would probably be able to throw in some balsa as well (I still have about 300 1 1/4"x1 1/4" sticks left). Shoot me an email.

Ziad, Why not shoot Allan at Mercenary Tailor an email asking him? He made them for me and would be able to tell you. How big are your arms??? Mine biceps are just a hair under 19", which makes it hard to find decent fitting shirts occassionally. I can only imagine how hard it would be to fit you! F...

am selling 10 of the custom carved lances I had made this year. They are made in 3 pieces (each 36" in length), but have been securely glued at the joints. The are at touch over 8' long and are 2 1/2" wide at their widest point. They are made of poplar and are balanced extremely well. They will come...

I ordered a custom helm for jousting in late May and had it in my hands in mid-June. It had a 12ga skull and visor, with 14ga gorget lames. It opened with a side pivot and had a spring pin lock on the "far side" (the one away from lance hits) of the helm with two locking schnect hooks. I took more t...

And I can vouch for the quality of his products. I have consistently recommended him to other jousters and my squires as a dependable, quality, a...
