Now that we've sold a number of these and I can see what sort of eyelet configuration most people want and where, I've decided to include the cuisse, arm harness and pauldron eyelets as "standard equipment" in the price of the off the peg doublet. That's a $50 savings, as up till now these holes we...

I know, Howy loves to tempt me , but mine has the "one of a kind" green wrap (an upgrade) by Eric and was personally sharpened to a beautiful edge by Jason. And mine has been used to cut tatami from horseback This was a gift to me from Albion, and I dearly hate to part with it, however, our fundrais...

I was actually thinking about a helm like this: m as it has integral neck protection (it would, however, need a sneck hook or other locking device for the visor). This is the armour that Callum wears: and I am prett...

Hey Natalie, Contact Beathan and Armour and Castings, they do great work at great prices, are very quick with their turnaround, and it is custom fit. One thing to watch out for with the "pig-nosed" bascinet is that it leaves your chin exposed (as I found out a few weeks ago when I was jousting with ...

I can attest to the quality of Beathan's work - I have a custom close helm that I use for jousting made by him and it not only looks great but has taken repeated direct shots from lances without so much as a blemish. If I had the money, I would definitely be picking up one of the bascinets for Fiore.

Couldn't find the camera (it is buried under a ton of "back from Silverleaf" stuff) - but will take pics tonight (provided I do locate it). Nicholas, I can bring them with me to SLRF on Friday if you want to look at them in person. They would definitely fit the bill for lighter, they would stand up ...

For Sale: Ice Falcon Velvet Cotehardie
Hi all, I am selling a 2XL, Dark Green Velvet Cotehardie that I purchased last Summer and have never worn. This cotehardie was marketed by Icefalcon Armoury - through a reseller (the Blue Dragons, I believe) at the Silverleaf Renaissance Faire. It is a beautiful cote' and is basically brand new as t...

For Sale: Albion Duke 14th Century Grete Sword
Due to the underwhelming turnout for our fundraising faire, I find that I need to part company with my beloved Albion Duke. From the Albion website: Introducing Next Generation Albion Markâ„¢ The Duke (Oakeshott Type XIIIa) When seeing original swords of war from the 13th and 14th C., one is alw...

Valerius Stainless Arms (Stonekeep Elbows)!!
For Sale: Arm Harness "kit" consisting of upper and lower cannons made by Baron Valerius (these are at least 10 years old - about 18ga and went with the full couters I sold earlier this year). They have been "reinforced" with 16ga SS pieces welded in place to "beef up" the cannons. While not new, th...
