I don't know if it is specific enough, but Osprey has a Campaign series book on that battle. Even if the pictures/paintings in the book might not help, there should be a reference to existing sources.

The gauntlets are pretty solid, but I haven't been in the SCA in many years and things have changed quite a bit. These are the same type that Leo is selling, he would be in a much better position to answer than I.
