I think btu = British Thermal Unit if any one has a chemisrty text book it should have an explination of them and a conversion to whatever you understand best.

I clamped mine down to my work bench the used a 1.5" wood chisle to get the rough shape then a finshing sander with 100 grit paper took about 2 hrs for a great sword.

I agree with rearming with a backup wepon on the fly but picking up the lost one (fighter practice is different) I'm not so sure about.

What are your thoughts on a dis armed opponent. Do you let them pick there weapon back up? Make'em yeild? or what. For me I have mixed thoughts if I disarmed them then I sort of think I should make them yeild after all didn't you just beat them by taking their weapon away, now if it was an accident ...

Two stick can be fun to play I don't care a whole lot for it but play what you enjoy playing do it honorably and well and I won't complain. I am persomally getting hooked on great sword (my great sword) after only playing with it twice.

Thanks Well I think I'll leave the gold trim on the edge of the visor it just looks good (it has three lobes sort of deal) and the come up with some way to avoid being taped although with the powder coating and some windex it doesn't matter. I remember read just about the eadge of the brim so I have done it (gold enamal) and I dont have fukigaeshi so i don't need to worry about them, if I didn't already have it powder coated the peirce work would be great. Which eadges on it should be gilt (painted gold) I know the brim ussally was which other edges were often gilded also. 2. I think I have basically said screw it on the persona end of it (I will put togther several sets of correct garb just don't have a time or nationality yet. What I do have and am working on is several sets of correct armour and weapons.

I gotmy helm from Accdntprone today it is very nice work a bit rough but looks great and fits perfectly, I am very happy with it.

When I leg an opponet I stay on them till they are down and keep my gaurd up once down disingage and allow them to adjust or what ever. Of course this depends on circumstances.

Then like the rest when it come to the arms.

For legs I go down swinging I try not to let up often times you can get a kill on the way down, for the arm sort of switch to sabre techiques.
