It's a black irrigation piping. I have the ASTM # somewhere, i think i posed it on the want ads board. Basically, you wedge a stick of 1" rattan into this piping. since the wall of the pipe is 1/8" thick, you get a 1.25" sword.

You MIGHT be able to convince another merchant to do consignment for you. most businessmen will charge a fee for this, although, if its someone who you know personally, or who trusts you, you might be able to arrange to work for them manning the booth in exchange for the space.
