Girth webbing, although manufactured for use in saddlery, was often recruited into service as a haversack strapping. Naturally strong to hold a rider in place on...

what is the thread count (10mm or more? Momme (mm) is only cursorily related to thread count. It is actually a measure of weight per unit area. momme - a traditional unit used to measure the "weight" (density per unit area) of silk. The measure is the weight in momme [1] of a standard strip of silk...

Lloyd- I am interested in the IF body armour. I am also quite handy with a needle and thread. Some reviews of my work are in the links at the bottom. I also have what has been termed a "boat load" (or was that "buttload") of fabrics, including linen and wool, in case you have a more favourite tailor...

I picked up a dowelling jig off e-bay and used it to fix a chair that has split in several places. I can't imagine its gonna go anywhere as tough as it is. I have NO idea how perio...

My roomate uses the boxers-cup-briefs. I tried it, and didnt really like it so much. Withthe new cup, I'll probly just put it on under my boxerbriefs (with the afformentioned tying method) As for the supporter issue, I can find them, but not with a cup pocket... I'm sure they make them, I just cant ...

"Male Protective Gear"
Well, I've had my fair share of problems with that most humble and neccesarry of protective items- "The cup" First, you get a wierd look from the folks at the Sportstore when you say "do you have this in extra extra large?" (the supporter) It seems fat guys aren't supposed to worry about the jewels....

It would not be a very good armour either - if you get hit byt a thrust it can easilly enough go right through the seams between the plates - that is why in COPs and brigs they owerlap. Not all armour throught the ages was ideal. A padded jack would, for example, be worse than the above armour. Now...

VERY NICE! The bondage baby is kinda creepy there you go Jeff... you can re-cap the expense and time of building/ designing by making an adult sized one out of plyboard, painting it black, attaching some eyebolts and selling it on the internet as a "Bondage torture crib" LOL Seriously, Nice work. -+G

that might clear... i dunno though. As for the burgundy: The SCA doesnt accept murrey (the heraldic term for that colour) as a tincure. Further, if you submit something, blazon it as Gules, but colour in the picture burgundy, they will return it and say "advise the client to make the red more red" F...

Send him to James Randi. If he can demonstrate any of these phenomena then he is up for a million dollar reward.
