Possible Wiklebander?

I found the following while looking for somethign else... How do you think this would work, esp considering the fact that it could be dyed. Girth webbing, although manufactured for use in saddlery, was often recruited into service as a haversack strapping. Naturally strong to hold a rider in place on...

Well, 13 oz leather should be about 13 ounces per sqft. Figure out how many SQft you need, multiply by 15 to be safe and you habe the # of pounds. I woul personally put in a "fudge factor" of say 30% just to be safe.

what is the thread count (10mm or more? Momme (mm) is only cursorily related to thread count. It is actually a measure of weight per unit area. momme - a traditional unit used to measure the "weight" (density per unit area) of silk. The measure is the weight in momme [1] of a standard strip of silk...

"Male Protective Gear"

Well, I've had my fair share of problems with that most humble and neccesarry of protective items- "The cup" First, you get a wierd look from the folks at the Sportstore when you say "do you have this in extra extra large?" (the supporter) It seems fat guys aren't supposed to worry about the jewels....

It would not be a very good armour either - if you get hit byt a thrust it can easilly enough go right through the seams between the plates - that is why in COPs and brigs they owerlap. Not all armour throught the ages was ideal. A padded jack would, for example, be worse than the above armour. Now...

The bondage baby is kinda creepy there you go Jeff... you can re-cap the expense and time of building/ designing by making an adult sized one out of plyboard, painting it black, attaching some eyebolts and selling it on the internet as a "Bondage torture crib" LOL Seriously, Nice work. -+G

I'm not making any threats, but it sure would suck for a king to find himself without trained field heralds for his list, or court heralds for his matters of state. LOL

If you are worried about the cats, get a container with a lid, and drill a couple dozern holes in the top. gas goes out, cats don't get in.

Alternately, you could just drill a single hole, fit it with a rubber grommet, and use a brewers airlock.

Fimbriation is cool, provided the line that is fimbriated is simple. So the fess is fine. the tierce is fine, the crescent woudl eb circumspect, and the owl is right out.

Practice varying grips on the pen (some work better for others)

I suggested the same on the local kingdom heraldic list. My plan also included mailing a letter to the last know address a year before de-registering.

It met with tepid response.

Further, if you submit something, blazon it as Gules, but colour in the picture burgundy, they will return it and say "advise the client to make the red more red" F...
