My argument against what you're saying, Rev, is "common use" and "common interpreteation." The spirt of the law, not the letter. Common sense vs. rule lawyering. Some folks simply didn't know that the metal tapes could do the nasty things they can do. We know that the "plastic" in duct tape isn't w...

NO METAL, PLASTIC, OR PVC MAY BE USED IN THE STRIKING SURFACE OR SURFACES OF ANY WEAPON. Doesnt this men that you may not have ductape or electrical tape on your sword? they are, after all, plastic. Also shot are shrinktubiung, siloflex and the like. Now I know that's not the case, but it seems to ...

I'd say depends on the alloy. One way of doing it would be to overlap/ squish the rings hot. as for the punching (piercing, actually) It might be a problem, and if it is, you could always drill round holes and use round rivets... When you do the annealing step can you damage the rings temper or prop...

I think you misunderstood what was said... You can sew a seam with a running stitch. it will be fine for a shirt, but not if you are going to fight in it. for that you might want a backstich, or a saddle stich, or something else that will hold up better. running stitches are fast, other not so much....

Well, speaking for myself, as a person who sells clothes, it is just not economical. Right now I set my priced based upon a "shop rate" of 7-10$/hr, less than I could make as a networking technician (which I'm certified for), a biological engineer (Liscenced EIT here) or even a pizza guy. This makes...

Insulate the lid. Either under the board or over it (a cushiopn perhaps?). Not doing so may adversely effect your cooling ability, esp if people are sitting on top of it, or its in a windy environment.
