they are also not very hard to make from wood. In fact we used to do it all the time in scouting. three poles and some cord.

however, we do have evidence of other means of hanging pots, so why not use them?

according to the SCA rules, that should be a legal device (though I'd like to see the embattled line drawn with fewer embattlements). The field is technically "neutral", being equally composed of colour and metal. this means the only tincure you CANT put on that field is OR or Azure (and then only o...

I've always wondered how hard it would be (or weather it would be worth it) to set up a press to do the big work for thinks like mempo, stick the red/orange steel in, activate press, get basic shape. and then use the traditional method for the details.

true, but for all intents and purposes, the basic engineering equations answer the question. Sure there is the issue of conservation of momentum, but as we are dealing with identical masses, and similar shapes, the force imparted by said momenta will be the same. the biggest weakness is that we aren...

Guys, this is academic. Very much so. All one needs to do is consult a materials mechanics text. For ease of calculation, we can compare bars of aluminum of a specific length and width, experiencing pure bending. The yield strength for various materials are shown below. The figures are in MPa, which...

the antique ones are more solid and durable, and can usually be bought cheaper- they just need a good cleaning and lube job.

That I think is the key. If your braies come up over your hip bones, they dont slide down so much. That and Gartering below the knee. In essence, use the body's bulges to help keep things up.

G-mail wont let you send a exe or even a zip with an exe in it.
