I was speaking of 45 minutes, which seems excessive, and you're right, if someone is can't do 15 without keeling over, especially with breaks for discussion, he or she should not be on the field. Did you really mean 45 minutes Agnarr? Because that just seems crazy. I was playing pig, i wasn't marsh...

Soupcan Knees From Mad Matt's Armoury.

I bought some soupcan knees from Mad Matt. They showed up 2 or so weeks before i was suppose to get them so i was suprised. They are solid and perfectly shaped. I am filled with girlish glee to get them strapped so i can use them. Thanks again, Matt!

The part the irks me about this whole situation is that these local marshals stated their intent to act in defiance of the King and the Earl Marshal. Such disloyalty and disobedience is unconscionable in a Royal Officer. Were the choice mine, if it could be proved reasonabley that that was in fact ...

The only time I've ever seen an auth go past 10 minutes is when they're really on the line and the marshals want to see more, or if they need more passes to get the thrust auth. Here what any authorization SHOULD be. Do you know the legal targets in regards to SCA combat. Can you defend yourself. Can you throw a killing blow. Are you SAFE to yourself and your foe. With decent marshalls it shouldnt take long to run a authorization fight 10min IMO. Yes. I have argued about t...
