I know it's shameless braggin on my part. but here goes. Friday I got an email from her highness of Aethelmearc Branwyn. Apparently last November at an event I impressed her enough that after "reference checking" I was asked to stand as one of her gaurds and act as protection on the field...

Not that Gwen and Jeff need another recommendation, but here it is: I ordered some reproduction table linens, several arming point kits, some pewter belt fittings (for my SCA fighting belt) and some bodkin arrow heads. The website was easy to use.... and it tempted me to spend more than my budget! ...
