My understanding is that in order to harden copper alloys, you heat it and allow it to cool slowly. My question is how slowly? For lack of an annealing oven, what would people suggest? As long as you do not mind going over your hauberk for 10 or so minutes after fighting and replacing the occasional link, you'll be fine. i have an aluminum one made from sawcut ringlord rings. just take some maintenence.
