Do not use mighty putty. You will need to secure the chinstrap more securely than that. I hope someone has a link to the diagram for it.

If I could find some pics of regulations on wht the SCA would allow for a max size hammer would be nice, I kow it's not the most effective way to fight, but it is a style that I would love to learn. Personally I think the right person with the right weapon can be far more effective then anyone may ...

The key to using the big hammers and maces is patience and timing. You need to sort of get lost in a group of people who can more safely engage (drift just behind them) - then you will find your sleeping/distracted victim. KABONG Sir Vitus I am sorry but I must disagree. I was present in the front ...

not planning on using them for a LARP , SCA, or any other type oif group like this. I like to collect weapons of different types. I try to keep them within the realm of Historical accuracy. I've fought with a hammer in NERO and it wasn't that great, i've since switched to some hand made ultra lites...

Meh, I may just be new but I just have to argue as they do in real Krav Maga, that a carpenter doesn't get better at hammering nails by going out into a field and slowly miming the act over and over. But are you already a carpenter? Not trying to piss in your cheerios, but slow work is how you lear...

All, I know and respect both men involved in this sale. I do remind you that you are hearing only one side of a story. It would be far more constructive for us to get back to the auctioning of this piece of armor rather that continue to comment on this situation. Only the two involved know all that...

Re: Persona fighting

Best I can recall, an independent Celtic Minor Noble would be in a bascinet with aventail, an angelwing tabbard, some sort of cool looking steel 14th cent. legs, and be weilding a broadsword and a 36x24 heater... I think... while not finding much information as to how my independent Celtic minor no...

Agnarr, I first encountered SCA in Richmond, IN at 16. I then ran into it again, while working with the Navy at a Special Olympics in N...
