Homer, your plates should overlap horizontally. The two holes on each side of a plate should be directly above or below the two holes on the sides of the plates next to it. What does one do with the ends of the cords? I mean when you're done lacing a row, or lacing 2 rows together. How do you finish up with the end of the lace? And if you just use 1 lace for the whole front or back, still, what do you do to finish up with the ends of your cordage? Thanks, Christopher ...
