Re: Armor for a Newbie

looking at different helms, all of them way over what I have for a budget. I don't need anything pretty, just as long as it is serviceable. I will add that I wear glasses, and something that has a front hinged faceguard would be nice, but not necessary. Torquil try here. I have never purchased from...

Ok, i misread the question. Yes a hold should be called. in melee, a fighter needs to protect his hand and get out of danger.

even with a discount those leather (not hardened) plates are more expensive than getting stainless steel plates from one of the other vendors. I think Tandy SERIOUSLY needs to rethink their pricing on those. I am sure that Tandy does not have someone cutting these plates out by hand. They have a pu...

I was reading a woodworking magazine a while back and a specific article caught my attention, the article was about keeping your tools free of rust. Well as we all know rust is the spawn of satin, wait nono it’s the spawn of satins butt hole. The article reads if you take kitty litter put it in c...

Guys, I really appreciate the advice. Agnarr, you live in E-21. There are camps on your block that have never had a fighter. Ever. I have found that if you kick your opponent right square in the scrotum while bound up that a quick wrist flick with the shield in the wrist holding the sword it will usually disarm them.
