I have to agree with WMA. I can name NUMEROUS armouries who've got nothing but positive reputations.

I'm glad it seems like Waldryk has gotten his back log cleared up, his work is terrific.

I think Waldryk has had some of the largest numbers of un-satisfied customers in terms of "I sent him the money and he hasn't sent me my stuff." I don't know if this has been fixed or not, and I've personally never had a problem with him. I do know one person who waited over a year for something tha...

An attitude I don't get is when someone wins then trash talks their opponent to others. "He sucks." What are they THINKING? How BAD does that make them sound? Sheesh. Ok, I get it...he sucks and you beat him. Wow. Congrats. You beat someone who sucks. It's gonna be funny if he gets YOU next time... ...

I'd guess that's about as close as it gets, Bob. THere may be other reasons, but I'd think that a group that's more interested in historical manuals would be more interested, and those that tape on their armour and beat on each other without caring about history wouldn't be. And where a group is in ...

I'd disagree with you, Klangiron. I'd say, "They want to make money, THAT is why there's another re-write so you have to buy a new set of rules again." WoTC, TSR, whomever...doesn't matter. Companies are in it to make $$$.

Well.... "It Depends." It's all philosophic. Let's say you have something you absolutely MUST have $100 dollars for. You can put a reserve of $100 on it or you put a minimum bid of $100 on it. If you put a reserve, then don't put a minimum bid. Let people put their $1 bid on the thing. You're not re...

TSR aren't the big boys. WoTC is the HUGE bully on the block, tho. http://www.armourarchive.org/ubb/smile.gif I'd guess that putting a space in there might not make them happy. If they ever even find out about it. Since you're not doing any kind of gaming stuff, they may not give a damn. Best of luck!

I've heard that "take it if it's clean" thing before, but I'd disagree with it. The full explanation is usually, "Well, if the shot had good form and landed nice, and you didn't get any block on it, you should take it because it had good form." Well, no, not really. What if it had to be radically mo...

There are no email newsletters. Publications of the SCA must be paper. There can be an un-official calander online. I think every kingdom has one. Tonwen...I've always heard that hitting the lost arm is considered a body shot and is therefore a kill. Hm. Well, I don't know if it's a double standard or not. My thought is that a peer of any kind should "know" stuff about the "other" areas of the SCA. And I think that's been the case in general. Peers have members of the other peerages speak for them at their elevation, and they say, "This person i...
