Hm. No, I had semi rigid gas perm contacts and never had a problem with them popping out before I had eye surgery.

I had PRK, which doesn't include the part of lasik that most people get all OOKIE about, which is the blade.

It's more annoying than painful, in my experience.

Alexander, thanks for the clarification!

What about you fighters who don't fight much?

Perhaps this question is a bit like going to choir practice and asking "For those of you who do not sing, why not?" But I'll post a cross post notice on Off-topics and see if I can bring in more. Fighters who don't fight much... You who maybe go to fighter practice now and then. Maybe real...

But that was in Houston. You probably started out with 25 fighters...they just melted down to 7 or 8!

HEY ALEXANDER!!!!

I'm not expert. I had PRK done. I'd think that you should wait longer for lasik than PRK, because simply there's nothing to get dislodged with PRK. That's entirely a non-professional opinion.

I liked the Frappr thing, but it's got limited usefullness AS LONG AS the fighterpractice.com site is well administered. The problem with the Frappr site is simply that data gets old, and if it was less than complete at the time of entry, it's less useful. I agree 100% with Logan that his idea is su...

According to the new Society Marshal Handbook, thrust and throw javelins can be made of rattan.

That seems a bit insane to me, but I haven't been hit with one to judge. But now I may make a few! (Gotta check my kingdom's rules first)

I have to agree with Logan...the difference in how we get hit with a 3 pound flexable stick vs. getting hit in the frontal lobe by the helmet of a 300 pound person over and over is just so radically different. And I'd bet that a lineman gets hit in the head more times in a week of practice and a gam...

Northshield fencers virtually always fight with Trimaris, and a majority of the time the heavy fighters do as well. As a general rule if Northshield fencers fought on the side of Ansteorra, it would be a huge imbalance. But the numbers of heavy fighters wouldn't swing the balance like that. I know t...

correct...it's the aventail that goes for 275, not the coif.

I'd think a "used" coif would be worth fairly close to full price, but maybe knock 'er down to an even 3 Benjamins and she'd move.

Oddly, I think that people calibrate a LOT lighter than they take in practice, not the opposite. There's no adrenaline and no movement when you calibrate.
