Might I recommend you look into United States Postal Service priority mail for shipping? You can cut your customer's shipping expenses in about 1/2. That's over 10% savings on the whole invoice.

I've never seen any that Patrick did, were they made for SCA combat? I'll have to ask him when I talk to him next.

I want spring steel gauntlets

So what do I have to do to get a pair of GOOD spring steel gauntlets? That fit totally correctly and all that? I've been looking for years. Every time an armourer seems to be about to make then, bad things happen.

It's a silly thing to discuss. I should have dropped it, because it didn't really matter. When I read the first statement, it seemed to imply that the feelings were unanimous. If it had said "albeit NOT unanimous" then that would read to me as an admission that it wasn't, but still widespread. To me...

The only way I can support this is because Lochac is a sovereign Kingdom, and they should be free to make their own choices. As long as they realize that the rest of the world doesn't play that way, let 'em have at it. Odo I think the reason to support it is that they're a different corporation tha...

We have a Duke here in Ansteorra who's story was very similar. What he noticed was that while at work, he would start to lose feeling in his legs just sitting at his desk.

I wear leather cuisses, and while a shot still stings, it's fairly rare that I get a real good bruise.

I do not consider this chivalrous. You may only ruin the game for the individual for this battle, or war, but enough of it and they might quit. Why not just hit them in the cup? They won't need that to work on Monday. Kill them in the battle? Fine. Take their arm in the battle? Fine. Make it so the...

In Ansteorra we have archers who are NOT authorized in ANTHING but Combat Archery. Calibration is still part of their training. They just don't have to fight sword and shield to get authorized.
