Not a critisizm, unless it becomes too heavy on the front. LOL But I like it. the 1/4 inch bars are thicker than we require, so the 3/8 are UBER beefy was my only comment. Not a concern, just a comment.

Or heck, a foreign king. :) My current helm was made by Kelson while he was King of the East. Did that mean my discourse with him would have been more servile were he to not uphold his end of the bargain? I think not. :)

I've never seen one in person, but Brian Price, they guy who's selling it, is an SCA knight, and would be able to honostly tell you if it is actually legal for SCA combat. I can guarantee he would not sell it to you for SCA combat if it would not be safe for such. Hey all, However I was wondering wh...

Yes, Waldryk has that bascinet. He's nowhere near as reliable as you are on a regular basis. I did not realize that... I will make a full bargrill face with the scallops soon then. I gotta tell you, you make that helm with a full grill instead of the cow catcher, for 200-250...maybe 225 would be a good price point... you've got a product. Re: Dukes Knights,Marshals & Newbies

Since we've determined that other kingdoms don't have the "fall down" rule, I'll only address the one point. First, there is a difference between a glorious death and a silly pratfall. What is usually cheered in my observation is the silly pratfall. SOMETIMES the victor does something really amazing...

I like it when people model their names and titles. My knight for example is

Earl Duncan Arthur Ross "The Black"

But will somtimes sign himself

Duncan "The Black", Earl of Ross

I dig that.
