very nicely done, very clean lines. Just a note: It looks like your second set of straps from the top look to be attached with the same rivet as the top of the articulation. If this strap ever breaks the client will have to cut off the articulating rivet and replace it to replace the strap. It is u...

Here are the pics w/ the Pauldrons as promised. Sorry for the delay, screwed up one of the shoulder lames and had to make a new one, (the dye bled through the paint and couldn't cover it). Anyway, they are finished! <IMG src="http://hou...

Articulated Leather Legs (pics)
Greetings all! Busy, busy, busy! (Which is always a good thing!) Just finished some legs and got around to posting them to my site, thought I would share. Front view Side view of the articulation. These articulate just like a p...

I must say, that this Lorica is my creation. I used my interpretation and artistic license to create it. I was going more for the flavor of a Roman piece, as opposed to recreating anything. Since it has been stated that leather loricas probably didn't exist, I so no reason to attempt to recreate som...

To be honest, leather lorica segmentatas probably aren't authentic. I do not know of any extant remains of leather loricas being found. That doesn't necessarily mean that they didn't exist. It just means that I don't think there is any evidence of them done in leather. However, I really like the way...

Normally, I insist on a deposit. In this case I did not, because I really wanted the project. I thought that it would be fun to do something out of the ordinary. My deposits usually are not refundable on custom projects either. I have since reworded my guarauntee to pertain only to strucural integri...

Very nice interpretation of Michelangelo's(sp?) Green Man. I have never seen an example with the mouth open. Was that at the request of the client? I think you did an exellent job keeping the leaves true to the original piece. How big is it? I'm not sure where the picture the client sent me came fr...

I'm not sure why ROC doesn't recommend the circular saw method, but I know why I wouldn't recommend it; circular saw sometimes jump when cutting dense or hard woods, free cutting like that is inherently dangerous, and then add the chance of it jumping back into you.... Unfortunately, my young paddiw...

I have never stated that Jennifer is outside her rights of refusing payment. I don't think that that was what you were saying Jehan, but I want to make this plain. I did not correctly interpret what the customer wanted. I offered a badly wordered guaruntee and she is disappointed. I am truly sorry t...

I really appriciate everyone's supporting comments. I will not pick nits, if in the eyes of the customer the belt is not what she was expecting then it isn't right. I thought that I had correctly interpreted her instructions and her pictures, (which at times did not sync with one another). It is not...

x-post: Custom belt finished! (Pics)
Greetings All, Just another bit of shameless self-advertising. I just finished a custom belt for a customer and thought I would share it with you all. The belt is styled after a popular anime character. I don't follow the game circuit, so forgive my ignorance on the character, but it involved some t...

Custom Belt finished! (Pics) Now up For Auction!
Greetings All, The customer I made this for has just informed me that they are no longer interested in purchasing the belt. I went against my normal custom project policy and did not ask for a deposit, so I have invested time and materials into a project that will not be sold unless I auction it off...

Free photo galleries have atendency to be a real pain. Yahoo requires you to be 'signed in' in order for others to view your pics. Not a very good way to host pics and post them here......there are several of us that would be willing to host pics for posting here.....just have to ask around a little...
