Mines much less further on, it's still quite shallow and wide brimmed. I just found this on the grimmarmoury site, thought t might be of some use to you. http://www.grimmarmoury.com/gallery/late15th/Chapel_de_fer15_1 I'm going for something a bit shallower, it seems easier for a big raising project.

If you mean the thing with 4 rectangular holes, i believe it is a WWI breastplate. First World War Body Armour - This is a set of First World War body armour, used by the British Army. It has curved metal plates for the chest and the back, and was supposed to protect snipers and other vulnerable sol...

The proper way to do it is to put a small hook above the handle. this allows you to just pull it off whenever, like this.http://home.armourarchive.org/members/hayman/buckler.bmpIt's the little hook aove the handle.

It depends on what your making really. raising thickens the metal but it loses roughly 1%(thickness) every time you heat it due to scale. It all depends on how you work it also, some people dish and raise other just raise. Theres no definate formula for it, just guess how thick you want it to start ...

Was armour ever traded, in?
