shields and bucklers for sale.

i have space in my commisions slot (permanently empty :-) ). anyone want shields. come in various sizes and thicknesses(sp?). e-mail me for quotes and specifics. i also offer rough from the hammer bucklers. 18g 12" diameter.

i think it could be salvaged with some welding. that would eliminate the need for kaowool. the blower seems ok. just requires some elbow grease to remove all that rust.

war/blowing horn for sale

Beautiful horn for sale. approx 12 inches long. 3 inches wide at mouth. blowing hole about 1/2 inch wide. asking £30 for it can't really trade cos i need money. very deep sound and VERY loud. price is without shipping.

Power planishing hammer

Soon i will have my workshop and i ave reserved a space for my power planisher. about 5 feet square. i was thinking of using a washing machine motor to drive it but what wires and stuff would i need to keep. also how would i attach a foot control to the motor. thank you for any and all replies/ help.

i am currently rasing one froma single piece. when i have finsihed it i am going to take patterns off of it. it will end up as a 3 piece. two skull halves and a skirt. i'll happily share it wtih everyone here. it may be a couple of monhs before i get a pattern i like though.

A large ball pien hammer is what i used to use. it works perfectly but there is so so much planishing to do. i then switched to a lump hammer wtih half a gae finial on either end. it's perfect for starting raising courses on large helms.

I am about halfway through raising a corinthian helmet. it's hard to doo with the constant annealing though. what i did was to cut out an 18" diameter disk and form it to the top half of the helm. this portion contains the brow that sits just above the eyes. i am then going to cut out a skirt to wel...
