according to my chemistry teacher HCL can't etch brass because it's not strong enough. is this true? He seems to think that even a mild/strong sulphuric will have trouble.

about 3 feet wide. and 5" deep. start at about $70. a paint job depending upon intricacy start at about $10 and go up to something amazingly complicated at about $60. Not sure on the weight. might be around 16-18 pounds. It would be painted straight onto the wood. not sure of the turnaround time on ...

Custom shields available

Just wondering if anyone wants a shield. 18mm MDF. Nothing bent. (haven't figrued out how to bend stuff that thick yet). kite, heater, round,hoplon. give me the dimensions and i will make it. Be sure it's not wrought iron you're deeling with or you could have a huge pile of iron pieces. wrought iron tends to break when struck without a lot of heat. By all means attempt the sword it will be hard and time consuming though.

There is a harness in the royal armouries but i'm not sure of the name. it's a full suit with red arming garments in the war gallery. I want to take a micrometer to the breastplate cos it looks really thin.

all steel is carbon steel. i'm gessing you want this for steel to steel combat. I could do it but only out of mild steel. unfortuantely i live in the uk. not sure what the shipping would be like.
