i think i might try target archery. i have being doing archery for about 3 years now. my bow seems to fit in with the guidelines. i joined with my archery club through the pontalarch website. (no need for pictures. i have a girlfriend.)

i've heard of pontalarch. i'm 14 by the way. is that too young to be a combat archer. i was shown the site by a man at my archery club. an american. his name escapes me though.

some things i've made recently. pics

a kite shield i made recently. the boss is mine. it is screwed on. i didn't leave enough room for rivets so i couldn't peen them over without putting a dent in the boss. a ninja star. it is 1 in a set of 9 for a friends collection. finally an ashtray made for a friend. i did it the same as you Halberds. but instead i used 1 piece of 16g folded on itself. i can make about 100 ft in 20 minutes. the reason i came up with this is...the only rod i have is 3/4" which is way too large. making maille out of large links means the edges go funny and it lays oddly. i thought...

new maille style

made an innovation in maille technology today. hand twisted wire wound into rings. made a sample patch to show you all. will post picture in a minute. it holds together really nicely even though the ID is 3/4".
