From what i've eben able to gather, arming clothes weren't worn under a B&W harness. i understand that the clothes of the time (puffed and slashed) were worn underneath and all fit to itself with straps. no points or such. correct me if i'm wrong.

i'd suggest some spring steel rings of a slightly large diameter. this would take up the stress and allow a bit more room, therefore, less stress (one would hope)

Ah, but many groups require n higher draw weight than 45lbs and some even 30 lbs. This reduces damage to people on the field. Blunt arrows still do lots of damage.

Yew bows, unlaminated should last at least 5 years if made properly I.e using heart and sap wood in conjunction with each other. all bows, laminated and unlaminated are liable to snap for any number of reasons. How long has the locust been curing? things like this and moisture content when made give...

I'd suggest making a bascinet or barbute from two or 3 halves and taking them to a welder. By all means, practice raising between doing this and mayb...

The ones projecting from the front would be for Tassets i presume. The ones on the side at the back hold the faulds together on that side, it's a trick of the eye making it look like its not attached.

From what i remember (i got to handle it, yaaay) Robert MacPherson made the grommets himself, like pretty much everything else attached to the suit. simple brass plated ones can be got from fabric shops (its where i got some for myself). simple two piece affair with a tool that allows you to set them
